Digital Photographer Philippines' Jam-packed 8th Anniversary Celebration

Mark your calendar as a remarkable event will be happening on May 10, 2014 [Saturday] at Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines as the Digital Photographer Philippines [DPP] will celebrate its full-blast eighth (8th) anniversary hence making a historical significance on the world of Photography in the country.

The birth of DPP can be traced with that of a small get together event prepared to its steadfast and dedicated community members from novices to amateurs and hobbyists to professional photographers which rapidly changed and became the largest single-day event for Photography in the country.

What's something enormous about this event aside of being FREE is the fact that DPP invited 13 "with-name" photographers to speak and share their legitimate and well-versed topics during the single-day event.

Ms PILAR TUASON tagged as the Transcending Photography Legend and having an undisputed recognition as the First Philippine Female Canon Ambassador thus Crusader of Light will start the event at 10:00 am to 12:30 nn lecturing on "Conquering Midday Light" topic.

Aside of her, Mr Mark Dimalanta considered as the Ultimate Action Snapper will also start the event at different designated area station 10:00am until 01:00pm as he will be lecturing the "Shooting and Sports Action" topic. Mark is an international surf lifestyle photographer and writer who's bitten by the travel bug.

Of course, DPP also mentioned that the Philippines' Premiere Fashion Photographer no other than Mr Raymund Isaac will join as he lectures and guide the dedicated participants on shooting fashion with creative vision.

Aside of the three mentioned above, DPP announced the 10 other renowned photographer with their respected fields.

10- Jiggie Alejandrino, the Mr Speed light for "Lighting: One. Two. Three" topic.
09- Jan Gonzales, the Great Visual Story-teller from Cebu for "Nothing to Something" topic.
08- Rommel Bundalian, the Talented Lens Man and recognized as one of the leading Street Photographers in the country for "Shooting the Urban: A Street Photography Approach" topic.
07- Wesley Villarica, a Canon Crusader of Light
06- Dix Perez, tagged as the Crackerjack of Fashion Photography for "Outdoor Fashion" topic.
05- Xander Angeles, the Philippine Photography's Creme de la creme for "Light Bending" topic.
04- Nikko Villegas, Fashion Photographer for "Light Bending" topic with 05.
03- Lito Sy, the Wedding Photography Virtuoso and an international multi-awarded winning Photographer for "Bridal Portraits Unplugged" topic.

To make the event more significant, DPP invited the "All Time Master Photographer" and the one of the leading portrait photographers in the country, no other than Mr Jun de Leon.

To add up the excitement, a special guest is invited, a renowned international street photographer and considered to be the Street Photography Guru, Mr Eric Kim for Tricks of Street Photography.

You think that's all the DPP can offer to its devoted and faithful community members and readers? Well, its not since DPP has been appointed by the HIPA (Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid AL Maktoum International Photography Awards) as it's Official Partner in the Philippines.

HIPA is an international prestigious yearly photography competition showcasing jaw-dropping images participated by talented photographers across the globe. It was established by the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2011 encouraging and supporting art, culture and innovation through photography.

As per announced by DPP at the website, HIPA pledges its support of the 8th anniversary celebration by sponsoring all the goody bags plus a door gift for each participant. In addition, HIPA  pledged to add its several prestigious photography books for raffle during the evening program. (With emphasis)
