Announced last February 11, 2014 by Canon USA, Inc., the Canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera also known as the Canon EOS 1200D is the successor of the Canon EOS 1100D [EOS Rebel T3] thus replacing the successful entry-level DSLR.
The new EOS 1200D is a solid entry-level DSLR that offers higher key features compared to its predecessor while giving a budget-conscious price. As per stated by Yuichi Ishizuka (Executive Vice President and General Manager, Imaging Technologies and Communications Group, Canon USA) during the press released, "The EOS Rebel T5 camera is designed for entry-level DSLR photographer looking to expand their creative options and advance their photography skills".

Just last April 03 2014, during a FREE Cleaning Service, the new Canon EOS 1200D was spotted at Canon DHUB Center, Cagayan de Oro Branch. Accordingly, the new EOS 1200D was added to the inventory of the authorized dealer of Canon products last week of March 2014.
