Canon EOS 7D Mark II Coming This Year 2014?

WHAT'S NEXT FROM CANON?

The rumored Canon EOS 7D Mark II

It has been a long rumored that an updated replacement of the Canon EOS 7D will surface the digital scene by the 2nd quarter of the year 2014. And according to the source, the announcement will be delayed to the 3rd quarter of 2014 due to manufacturing issues.

The rumors of the new version of the Canon EOS 7D has been circulating the web and given a name of Canon EOS 7D Mark II. The professional Canon EOS 5D has been updated with both Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the latest would be the Canon EOS 5D Mark III with at least 3-4 years of much awaited. Even the Canon EOS 1D has been replaced by the Canon EOS 1D-X. Well, it has been 5 years since the announcement of the release of the Canon EOS 7D to the market and it may be long overdue for its successor given the time frame.
Nonetheless, a great source from "North Light Images" and "The New Camera" reported and claimed that a new version of the Canon EOS 7D much known as the Canon EOS 7D Mark II will feature a much higher and faster version of the Canon EOS 70D's Dual Pixel AF CMOS Sensor system.  This rumored Canon EOS 7D Mark II will arrive in few months with much higher and newly developed 24 Megapixel PDAF (Phase-Detection Auto-Focus) Sensor system with 10 frames per second continuous shooting capability much applauded than the Canon EOS 5D Mark III with only 6.0 frames per second and even the Canon EOS 7D with only 8.0 frames per second as its rumored predecessor.

Other than that, specification details of the Canon EOS 7D Mark II are still fancy. Nevertheless, these features could raise 2 thumbs up for this updated EOS Model.

This may be a better version of the Canon EOS 7D and may perhaps be one of the favorite EOS models in the market.

On the other hand, we've already seen the successor of Canon 1100D, the Canon EOS 1200D which was announced just this year- last March 2014. We've already seen the newest add up of the EOS line up, the smallest Digital SLR camera yet- The Canon EOS 100D and even seen the newest successor of the Canon 650D, the Canon EOS 700D.
